Being a Companion Driver is about slowing down, and being supportive. It’s asking how someone’s day is going, offering an extra hand, and getting riders out of your vehicle and through the doors of wherever they’re going. Drivers earn an hourly base rate plus mileage, tips, bonuses, and karma points.

Getting Started
You’ll need to meet the age requirement for your region, have a smartphone, and pass an online DMV and background check. Requirements vary across cities.
Personal Vehicle
You’ll need a 4 door vehicle that’s less than 10 years old.
Insurance
We’ll ask you to upload your proof of insurance and registration. Some regions will require vehicle inspection as well.
CPR and First Aid Certification
Don’t worry - we can help if you’re not certified.
Pass a Live Scan & Background Check
A clean background and fingerprint check ensures rider safety.
